That's evil Clar. EVIL! But I think I was one of the first people to log into that server. I was there logging on right as the servers came up... I didn't plan it, it just happened to be the time I usually log in anyway.
Happy Easter, peeps! Thanks for rocking up to the kin meeting despite the holiday
Here's what we covered in tonight's meeting:
Symbols in SG - please don't sell these on the AH, it's not fair to make a profit off the efforts of your other kinnies. If you happen to make a fail Second Age, you're fine to sell it, but if we catch you selling a symbol that you won in a kin group, we will demote you. Symbols purchased with DKP are your own and you can do whatever you want with them.
We've adjusted the rules for flipping to a different toon for looting in raids - For any raid, you can only take one thing per night. (So you can take one item in Watcher, and one item in DN). Items that go for 3DKP or to a free roll are exempt from this. For BG, you can flip to any toon you like (so long as they don't cower) to spend your DKP, on either 1 piece OR 1 auction item OR 1 symbol. For Watcher, you can flip to any toon with 45+ radiance to roll on 1 piece OR 1 jewelry item. For DN, you can flip to any toon with 65+ radiance to roll on 1 piece OR 1 jewelry item. If you've got any questions about this, please don't hesitate to ask!
Sitting people in raids - we do this for a number of reasons. Sometimes it's for class balance, sometimes it's because the leader's forgotten that they sat you last time, and sometimes it's because we believe you're not ready for that raid just yet. If you're being sat repeatedly for any particular raid, please don't take it personally, and have a chat with the raid leader or any of the officers. We're here to help you guys get better, and sometimes that involves having a tête-à-tête
On a related note, please read your class guides! At this date, all of the guides are up save for Rune-keeper. If you're having a bit of trouble in our runs, the first thing we'll ask will often be, 'Have you read your guide?', so please make sure you have. We also have the raid readiness guide up in the raiding forums, and we do expect everyone to have read that. If you don't have access to the raiding forums, please give me a yell!
We're also looking to run some more retro/fluff events like the Rift, Helegrod, Chicken runs and Tag, as well as help get people caught up on the story with Book Nights. More details to come as these get planned! Also, if you have any suggestions or have any events you'd like to organise, feel free to post them on the forums!
